Portland Oregon

Is where my new life adventures will take place!!!!
Beginning the first part of November!!!
I can hardly wait, to pedal my little heart out on the streets of Oregon. I am excited to share my new adventures with all of you.
In the mean time. . . . . . .
I'll spend as much time as I can with my Utah friends and family
Get a few more fall bike rides in
Find a new house
Move a family of 5
Enjoy Halloween
and
Try not to stress to much :)

Congrats! I am so happy for you, oh and maybe a little jealous. Portland is my 3rd favorite city on the world, after Vancouver BC, and Sydney Australia. So many things to do, see, and eat, both healthy and not! if you need any restaurant recommendations, let me know!

I'm so jealous! If I were to move, that is one of my top 3 choices. I'm a little sad that you're leaving Utah though...for no real reason.

Hi Lindsay,

You're moving to my neighborhood. I live in Hillsboro just 15 miles or so from Portland.

You will love it here!!! Great place to raise a family!! Great biking, camping and lots of things to do. Coast and mountains a little over an hour away!!

Can't wait to hear where you find your home!!!

... not that it's any of my business, but what exactly takes you to Portland?

How exciting! When we moved from Utah to Arizona, when my twins were 3 months old, I felt like my heart would be ripped out of my chest! But what an adventure it was and we made so many life-long friends!

Good luck to you and enjoy pedaling your bike to discover new places!

You are very lucky! Portland is wonderful! I was born there. My parents were born there. My aunts and uncles were born there. I now live in Seattle, but visit Portland frequently. I LOVE it, it is home!

I'm sure moving will be difficult, but Portland is a great town. And only a three hour drive from Seattle. It's a city on the move. Most people don't realize how it's really a "major league" city already.

Aw, how exciting! You are moving to my birthplace! ::grins::

What a beautiful future home.

Welcome! Portland is great for bike riding. Even with the rain.
Also, the countryside starts just west of Hillsboro, miles and miles of bike-able country roads with beautiful scenery all around :)

I'm from there! You will LOVE it! So many out doorsy things to do, especially running and biking. Biking is HUGE! I'm so jealous!

I LOVE OREGON!!!

I've only visited once, but it was my favorite place I've ever visited! I flew into Portland & spent the day there (Hellooooo Powell's Books!), then spent a week in Corvallis, where my BFF lives. We also went to the coast, which is so so so beautiful! I envy your Oregon opportunity!!! Can't wait to hear about it & see pictures!
