Rest or Ride???

RIDE!!!!!!
My body felt great today after an AMAZING yoga class late last night! So first thing today I was on my bike. It was an amazing ride! We did 9.5 miles total on the road. Then took it of road and up the mountain for I dunno what our mileage was off the road. I would guess total was 12-14ish? All I know that the ride was SUPER HILLY!!!! Climbing was a bit intense. I ONLY walked 1 time and that was when my tire slid on a rock half way up the climb there was no way to peddle midway up the mountain. So I had no choice but to walk. . . .
We rode to a place where we could look out and see the WHOLE Salt Lake Valley!!!!
So BEAUTIFUL!!!
It was a cloudy day and we got a little bit of rain on our way back. It was so worth pushing up the hills to reach the top and be able to look out over the valley.  Of course coming down totally ROCKED!!!!!

How are you going to spend your Friday night?

We are heading to dinner to celebrate my daughters 8th Birthday!!!!

Thanks for the inspiration. Many times I've questioned whether to ride (my trail is hilly, too), but I NEVER regret it after!

What a fun bike ride, I need to start that this summer. It's my next goal.
I hope your daughter had a fun birthday! Our Friday night was fun, we had Puerto Rican food with a friends, so delicious!

When I ride, I go to a lake, and it's a beautiful view, and in incentive to get there...but the view you have?! That's INCREDIBLE, and I'm so jealous! Perhaps we'll get to move to the mountains some day. Happy Birthday to your daughter :) My "baby" just celebrated her 7th, and my 8 year old will be 9 next month. Where has the time gone???

Wow! I've been thinking of dusting off my mountain bike. I haven't ridden it in 5 years. Think it's time?
