A Different Kind of Laundry and 4 Miles

Early this morning I went and waited in line for my fresh fruits and veggies! I tried a new thing called Bountiful Baskets. My friends had all tried it and I had heard great things about it. So today I gave it a try!
My friend and I waited in line in the rain, wind and cold! It was totally worth it though.
So happy to have so many fruits and veggies to enjoy and all for $15.00!!!!
The yummy basket all spread out!!!
I have to say it has all been so yummy so far I will for sure be trying it out again next week.

4 Miles Staring at This!!!
PAINFULLY BORING
It was no fun at ALL. We had super high winds today like upwards of 30-50 mph!!! There was absolutely no way I was running in wind like that. So I had to stick it out on the treadmill. I am already struggling enjoying running and this sure didn't help today :)

Do you like the treadmill?

I would have much rather enjoyed a morning run outside. Followed by a bike ride later.
Gotta love the weather!!!!

I hope everyone has had a fun Saturday.

I bought my own treadmill and installed tv w/surround sound and a dvd player. Makes it more enjoyable. Was rainy all day here. Run tomorrow - hopefully!

Wow - awesome deal for $15!

I have a love/hate relationship with the treadmill. I don't mind running on it. But, it was 91 outside today and the area the treadmill is in isn't cooled, so it was so humid last night.

What a steal for $15 bucks!!

how did you get all that for $15?!?

you should find a poster of a really hot guy and pin it up to that wall!

That was a bargain on the produce! I love to go to the farmer's market.

I got rid of my treadmill because I was walking outside no matter what the weather was. Now I wish I had kept the treadmill because sometimes I don't feel like braving the wind and the rain.

$15? I love it! Good job on the 4 miles, especially since it was a boring one, that's quite and accomplishment. :)

Great loot!

The treadmill is tough, especially for long runs. But, I'm with you - no running in high winds for me, so the treadmill is necessary!

The most I've ever done on a treadmill is 1 mile at a time and I've only done that on 3 separate occasions. It's such a struggle for me cuz it's boring and cuz I do interval running and it's obnoxious to have to keep adjusting the treadmill accordingly. The heat and humidity in Houston, however, makes air conditioning running seem very tempting - haha. I visited a family member's gym in Chicago once and they had an indoor track. How cool is that?!

My sister and her hubby have a basket program at their local farmer's market - way cool!

I have a love/hate relationship with the treadmill. I can't stand the one at home because it makes me feel like I'm going to trip, but it has a fan. The ones at the gym are better for entertainment purposes. There are tvs in front of you. Also lots of weird people to look at. I can choose whatever speed I want to shoot for and stay there because it makes me keep that pace. However, I can't change speed quickly like on the street. I don't feel the wind on my face either. And there is nothing to look at compared with running on the street. However, I do like the treadmill for the fact that I can bring my cell phone (which is heavy to try to run with). And I can stop wherever I am at and still be in the same location. On an outside run I would have to keep going even if I got injured or whatever. See, love/hate.

How neat! would love to have something like that every 4 weeks!

I hate the treadmill but I do use it for interval training. I prefer to run outside too.

The fruit and veggies look good and not expensive at all. It's simular to what I've had for a couple of months. Every week I got a bag filled with biologic fruits and veggies. But I'm a planner and I didn't like it that I didn't know what would be in the bag, it changed every week.

My hubby and I do Bountiful baskets here in Arizona. We LOVE it! For only $15, you get so much! And we like trying different things we wouldn't normally buy, finding a recipe for it, etc. It makes using fruits & veggies kind of exciting!

Wow, I am comment number 24 (unless someone comments before I post this). That "Bountiful Baskets" looks awesome. I wish we had something like that up here in Oregon!

I am so inspired by you! I only walk on treadmills right now and I'm trying to build up on the elliptical. I have a bike from a yard sale and hope to ride it for miles and see the wonderful scenery here in Oregon. I would love to run a 1/2 marathon. I am still really, at the beginning and only able to run on the treadmill less than a minute - but hopefully, one day, I'll be able to post such amazing feats as you have on your blog!! I love it!

Great deal on the produce!!

I love the treadmill because it's so much easier than running outside. Okay, I kind of hate it for that reason, too. :)

I love the treadmill but WHOA that view IS painfully boring!! :) I have to be able to people watch or check out a TV or something!

I love the basket idea - that's amazing! I started out running on the treadmill and have just recently begun getting outside. I really enjoy running outside for the fresh air and new sights, but the OCD person inside me likes the precision of monitoring my speed & distance so precisely on the treadmill, LOL.

My treadmill faces a window, so the view's not horrible, but it can get boring. I listen to a favorite playlist on my iPod...so that keeps me going. I think of it as truly 'brainless' time, when I don't have to concentrate on anything. My step classes are another thing altogether. Let your guard down for one minute, and you're on the wrong foot, facing the wrong direction, and the whole class knows that you zoned for a split second!

I *hate* running on the treadmill, but with my schedule and life, I am often forced to use it. If it broke, I'd be devastated. so I guess I shouldn't dis it too much. ;-)

I prefer running outside however during the winter months, I run on the treadmill. I do not like it but I know how much it hurts to go back to running when you take a big break so I stick to the mouse wheel. When the air is not really bad, I bundle up and run outside.

BTW: I tried bountiful baskets myself and I loved it!!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog :).

I have Multiple Sclerosis so I don't have the luxury of choosing to walk outside anymore. :( However, our gym has the treadmills with the personal tv's on them so I have control over what I watch! It makes it much more enjoyable for me now!

Hi! Lovin the fruit and vege baskets!
I'm afraid to run on a treadmill. I fear I will hurt myself. Strange I know! I'm okay with the eliptical, but I prefer to run outside!
Good for you getting it done!

And what an awesome job on the treadmill! Or what I like to call the "dreadmill"! Gosh, how I hate that thing!!! Uuugh! We have one here at home and getting me to use it takes an Act of Congress! lol I rather fight Mother Nature first! lol

Unfortunately living in the Utah desert doesn't provide much access to a market basket, but I do hope to work on eating more locally when I get to our next place.
