Bike Week. . . . .

Huh......
Yup my special surprise is a
SPECIALIZED DOLCE ELITE 2011
I am one of a few, if not the ONLY one who have this bike it was just released Friday!!!!
Thanks to the AWESOME people at Bingham Cyclery!!!

I have had a MAJOR desire to ride a road bike. I never thought it would be possible, or something I was capable of doing. I thought you had to be a major athlete, super fit and way intense to ride one. I didn't think it was something that Mom's did......until I noticed and saw that Mom's do ride road bikes! I wanted to learn how to ride, the rules, the know hows, the gear, the lingo, the whole shebang.  I WANT TO BE A CYCLIST!!!! I want other people who are intimidated to learn or have the desire to learn but are afraid to try to be able to follow me along my journey of . . . .BECOMING A MOMMY CYCLIST :)
I will be blogging about biking all WEEK LONG!!!!

I have TONS of fun stuff to share, tips, tricks, how-to's and even a giveaway!!!

Maybe this week should be called "HEALTHY RIDE" :)

That looks like a sweet ride. I'm totally jealous. :-) My road bike is 25 years old (was my mom's). I would love a new one. I can't wait to hear about all your adventures on your new bike!

Congrats!! I miss the good old cyclery. So glad you got one! You deserve it. And, the track/bike/run thing? Brilliant.

Wow! So cool! I have a mountain bike but I don't really know how to use it properly. I try to find out how to use the gears but it feels so hard to ride! I can't go 3 miles without feeling like I'm going to die!

You are going to LOVE IT! I got my bike last February. I have already done the MS150 (from Houston to Austin Texas) and I have done a Triathlon. Enjoy the ride...and don't let the butt pain stop you, lol. It gets better with time! :)

I haven't moved to the road bike yet and I need to learn how to put my bike rack on my car. I so miss riding my mountain bike!

Ride on, Young Lady (just remember your helmet).

Oh I love specialized, I've had two. I don't road ride though I'm a cross country chick. I'd rather battle over logs and drops then battle with cars. I love my Specilized Safire Expert. I hope you have fun - looking forward to more bike stuff!
