4.2 Run Followed With 25 Mile Ride

Okay my run today was AWESOME!!!
I took Advil before bed, and some before I ran it totally helped! I ran with my friend Robyn. Today I wanted to run somewhere different so I ran a local trail. BEAUTIFUL!!!! I ran past a pond with ducks, buffalo, deer, and a beautiful rushing river.
I took it easy on the first half and push harder the second half. It was a great run.
I needed a great run after my last run. So I was grateful for a good run :)
Nope this isn't snow it's COTTON!!! Achoo :)

I finished my run and a few hours later went for an awesome bike ride. I am not a biker, I was taught to ride a bike when I was little. I haven't gotten on one for YEARS! Well my neighborhood is FULL of die hard bikers, and they talk to me about it all the time! Well. . . .I went for a spin today and LOVED IT!!!! I borrowed my Aunts bike and rode with my cute friend Jodi we rode 25 miles!!!!!!!
*I did wear a helmet on the actual ride :)
IT ROCKED! I am hooked, I want a ROAD bike!
I couldn't believe how many miles we covered in such a short time.

How did you spend your Saturday?

Wow what a nice day of exercise. I got my exercise through house work today. I cleaned like crazy and it felt so good to get things done.

wow, nice job. and 25 miles on a mountain bike is HARD. you should give extra kudos to yourself for that!
you'll cruise on a road bike;-)

Awesome job on the bike ride - i've been meaning to get into that too.

The sun was shining today in my neck of the woods also - so took the opportunity to go for a 6.3 mile walk along the beachfront. Whoo hoo to sunny Saturdays!

And I'm dying to know where that trail is, it looks beautiful!

good for you running AND biking! I went to Y and got some cardio in. I wished we lived in an area that was nicer to bike or walk in. We don't have beautiful views!

I'm so scared to get on a bike! I only do stationary bikes at the gym! haha!

Sounds like you had a great day filled with many adventures and fantastic successes!!! =)

What a beautiful place to run! You are lucky to have a place like that nearby.

Love the definition in your arms on the bike ride! :)

Great run and bike ride!

I live in Holland and Holland is known for it's bikes. Almost everybody here owns a bike (me included) and we have lots of trails for bikes.

I didn't do much Saturday, it was hot yesterday so I enjoyed reading a book in the shadow.

Impressive! You've inspired me to get my bike out. I haven't ridden since I've lost my weight...I'm afraid of the seat without my extra cushioning! :)

Great job on the run! Beautiful pictures.

Amazing that you also rode 25 miles! I wouldn't think of riding a bike around here with our killer hills. Maybe some day....

Hey Lindsey, Maybe you can get a trailer and take me along. I swear I will make whole wheat muffins and share. You are like super woman now. I am just offering to make your ride more challenging. 152 pounds more challenging. ( not counting the trailer)
Good luck with your next ride!!
Keep up the great work!

Sounds like a great way to spend a beautiful day!

I had not been on a bike in YEARs myself and went to REI in February and tested some out. I got a pink beach cruiser bike. It's hilarious because in my neighborhood, people are hard-core riders and there I am once or twice a week cruising on my pink beach bike.

Good luck to you! Maybe a triathalon in your future... :)

Yay!!! I'm so glad you had an awesome run!!! And once again, what beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing!

I love riding, but my bike was stolen a few years ago and I never bought another one. ) : Although, I've seriously been thinking about getting a new one lately. I don't want to get burned out with walking.

I spent my Saturday much the same way - on a bike! A friend and I did 40 miles. It's nice to have a challenge to complete!!
