Holiday Weekend and All This Week. . . . .

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!
We spent the whole weekend camping in 3 different camp spots. Fun yes, exhausting totally!!!
We spent Friday night at Anderson Cove up at Pineview.
Totally a BLAST we spent it with lots of friends and neighbors.
We then headed south with my parents to Manti, a VERY small town! We enjoyed an awesome firework show. I even did cartwheels across the football field :)
Enjoyed the paddle boats at Lake Palisades! Now those paddle boats are a workout!!!!! My legs were exhausted! This was the ONLY form of exercise I had the 4 days we were gone :(
S'mores!!!!
Super yummy with a Reeses! If you haven't tried it you must try roasting starbursts, yummy!!!
We ate and ate and ate again!!!
Such yummy food the small town had to offer us.

Enough about my vaca!

I want to hear how you spent your 4th of July weekend???

*I have had SEVERAL people email me asking what my typical day of food, and exercise is so this week all week long I am going to blog my meals, workouts, weight training, cycling, running, and fitness classes. Boring to some not to others, I listened to your emails and you'll see the life of Lindsay all week long on Healthy Stride and Twitter :)

Looks like a great time! Utah has such wonderful places to go to.

My wife and I camped overnight on the rim of Horseshoe Canyon (south of Green River, UT)...s'mores were consumed as well as hot dogs roasted over the fire.

The next morning we hiked the canyon to see all the ancestral Puebloan rock art panels. It was a glorious couple days.

Looks like you had a great 4th!! I started mine out by running a hot and humid 5k race (PR's baby!!!) and ended last night by the pool with a cookout! The long weekend came to an end to soon though.
I'm excited to read about your typical day!

I spent my 4th in Denver....a trip that is 14 hour drive each way & was planned literally the DAY BEFORE we left! It was awesome. We saw friends, did some road riding over mountain passes, watched fireworks, ate and drank. I loved it and it was worth every minute of the dirve.

Ok you MUST tell me, is Roy's pizza as good as Fat Jacks was? Those cheese sticks/ fat sticks look just like the old ones!

YAY! Looks like a wonderful time! We were supposed to go camping but due to forrest fires up north, we decided to head to Cali instead. We laid out ocean front instead of hiking :-P

What a blast! We are so very lucky to live in America where we can be free, and surround ourselves with friends and family :)

Blogging your intakes/outtakes sounds like a lot of work but should be interesting. I have been logging mine at fooddiary.com in order to see my caloric intake and expenditure. Good luck!

Mmmm. 'smores made with RPB cups could be lethal in my house. Of course they would only last seconds. Sounds like a great weekend.

Sounds like a great vacation. I love camping - but we haven't done it for a few years.
We had family here for the 4th - our son had some friends over during the day and took our boat out and did some water skiing - then I made dinner for everyone and we went to the local fireworks celebration - went to bed to late and got up too early.
I extended my 4th holiday by taking today and Wed off from work. Yea!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and the comment. Even though most my blog is triathlons, I am an avid biker too, on a charity bike riding team and love to bike everywhere. And we sorta have a simalar story. Thanks again

Looks like you had a really nice 4th! I spent the weekend with my brother and sister-in-law and 3 1/2 yr old nephew- going to a Triple A baseball game, followed by a really cool fireworks display!

My hubby grilled some salmon, and we watched fireworks over the entire valley on a hill just outside of our house. It was fun! Great pics!
