Fastest Mile Yet

On my training schedule today was a 2 mile run. I decided to try to push myself little harder then usual. I finished my 2 miles in 20 minutes and 14 seconds!!!!! That is just about a 10 minute mile :)
I really enjoyed my run today.
The sun was shinning and the weather was perfect :) I was so happy to feel my sweat dripping down my face. I know that's totally nasty. However every time I sweat I feel proud knowing that I pushed my body that hard and I am sweating from my hard work.  My 5 year old hugged me after my run and said ewwww gross Mom you're wet only boys sweat......I was quick to tell her nope girls sweat too it mean we worked hard!!!
It was such a pretty day I snapped a few pictures along the way. All of my complaining yesterday must have been worth it!!!! The sun was shining brightly today :)

I am headed to Whole Foods.
I have never been there before I am excited to see what new foods I can find :)

  5. Way to go, Lindsay!!! I had to laugh at your daughter's reaction to the sweat. I would always tell my mom that I refused to sweat ... but I would, at time, "glisten like a pig" :)

  35. Wow! What an awesome run! And I know exactly what you mean about sweating. As nasty as it is, if I don't sweat when I work out, then I don't feel like I did enough. So I love it when I'm dripping! lol Also, I'm so happy to see Mother Nature rewarded you for all of your hard work! ( :
