Last night I road bikes with 3 girls from my neighborhood. We rode in the beautiful City Creek Canyon. We did 20 miles. It was so fun and really challenged me. I was passed by people on road bikes left and right! I so need one of those. A girl can dream right. . . . Until then I will get an even harder workout on a mountain bike :)

ReplyDelete20m on a mountain bike is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI notice that you have a full suspension bike. If your bike has the adjustment for it, you can lockout or stiffen/limit the travel on the shock absorbers. This will improve the efficiency of the bike since you won't be putting some of your energy into the springs of the suspension.
Of course, some also get a different set of road slicks to put on their MB as well to reduce the "rolling resistance."
