4.1 And I'm Feeling Alright

Today was a long run for me.
I ran 4.1 Miles in 48.38 :) I hit my groove about 1.5 miles into the run. Once I hit my groove I was on a roll! I felt like nothing could stop me! I was even annoyed that I had to stop when my shoe came untied.

During my run today when my iPod started playing this song.

I loved it so much when he sings, Now I've been happy lately, thinking about the good things to come and I believe it could be, something good has begun. At that moment in time to me, I was loving running and how my body and mind felt. I honestly felt like "something good has begun."  I actually enjoyed my run today!

Everybody jump on the peace train!
Happy Saturday :)

Great job! I went out for a run today as well...didn't go as far as you but running is just my cross training to biking so I only go for short ones. Hope you have a great rest of your day.

That was my favorite thing about running, getting to that point where you felt like you could just run for forEVER.
Way to go!

Growing up in the 70's, I appreciate this song. Great song to hear while running, especially at the beginning of your run. Congrats on having a "fun 4.1"

Congratulations! Wow!!! You must feel so good.

I cannot even imagine right now running 20 yards let alone a mile or more!

How did you start running? At what point in your weight loss journey did you begin? Have you written a blog post about it? I'd love to know! It is one of my long term goals to be able to run.
